I searched wide and far for a unique Christmas gift for my brother and his wife, who are 'foodies' like me. We had exchanged dinner gifts before so I thought "Why not a breakfast or brunch gift?"

Good fortune brought me to Wolferman's online--and to their "Eggs Benedict Basket." Well 4 days passed since Christmas and then I got the call: "We loved your gift! Very unique and very scrumptious--and the perfect way to start the day when you're snowed-in!"

My brother and sister-in-law live in New York and had been hit hard with the Christmas blizzard. So my timing was perfect: their holiday brunch was under their tree; no need to get out the snow plows! Only recommendation they made was to include cooking tips for the poached eggs; everything else was fantastic.

I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. She's out of town and difficult to buy for, but loves food gifts. She called the minute she received the basket to tell us she had already tried the Canadian bacon and loved it. She then decided to make Eggs Benedict for dinner that night! She's not much of a cook, but enjoy's all food, so having received all the items in the basket, she was ready to go. She enjoyed it all!!

I ordered this for my father who is undergoing Chemo for cancer and has lost some of his appetite. He said that he can stomach English muffins and wouldn't it be nice to have Wolfermans....My mother prepared the eggs benedict and had some as well. They told me not to ever order this item again. The English muffins were dry and sour tasting and the sauce was of inferior quality...worse than the powdered sauces you can get at the grocery store. The only thing they liked was the Canadian Bacon. Too bad since I have ordered fruit flavored English Muffins for them in the past few years and they have loved them.
