Just received this as a gift for Christmas. What a wonderful surprise opening the box and finding this inside. The english muffins may only be 4 to a sleeve, but these muffins are each about 2" thick - easily enough to share one between two people (and better that way, too). My husband and I each had one, and it was like eating an entire meal we were so full. The muffins are very tasty and not dried out. Toasted up beautifully in our toaster oven; even split these might not fit into regular toaster slots so beware. The tart cherry preserves were delicious. Big, whole cherries with just enough zing. The basket the items came in was a gift itself. Nice and sturdy - not cheaply made with poor materials as you sometimes get with other vendors. I see other reviews note about haphazard appearance of their baskets, but ours arrived perfectly packed. I do wish that, as a gift item, a festive bow or something was either included or available to add. Superfluous yes, but this would have been the perfect finishing touch.
We loved this gift so much that the next day we ordered the same thing as a gift for another family members who adores a good english muffin. As a newbie to H&D and Wolferman's, I certainly see us using both for more gift giving in the future. Excellent experience for this first time customer (and consumer)

I had this basket sent to my house because I wanted to personally deliver it to one of my best clients. Thank the heavens that I did send it to my home. I opened up the box and there was the basket, and some stuffing paper, and four packages of muffins and the jam just thrown in the box, NOT ARRANGED IN THE BASKET. I would have been mortified if that had been delivered to my client that way. You should not charge for a gift basket, you should charge for stuff to make up a gift basket. I actually bought a nice cloth napkin to put in the basket to spruce it up a little. It should have at least had a ribbon or something. Never again!

My sister received her gift and loved it. I knew she would because I treated my own family to an assortment at Christmas and it was delicious! They also freeze well so you don't have to hurry through them. The muffins are so thick and tasty. Will definitely order again.

My husband and I ordered this for our daughter. We wanted a gift different from other years and thought she, our son-in-law, and granddaughter would all enjoy. They did and we are happy with this particular choice. Of course we ordered some for ourselves first to make sure we liked them. Just this morning my husband asked me where the Wolferman's were; and I respond "We ate them". He misses having them in the morning...we had better take care of that very soon.

the muffins were yummy. Would have been better if there was a larger jar of jelly or 2 different jellies included. Ran out of the jelly with all the English muffins!

Last year I sent English muffins to all my distant friends. They all loved them (and so did I!) So this year I did it again and so far all the thank yous have been from very happy people. All ages love them so they make great gifts for everyone. I'll do it again next year!
