I sent two of these gift boxes as Christmas gifts, with an assortment of english muffins, crumpets, and tea bread. I learned after the holidays that both recipients had found the contents so stale that they couldn't eat them or salvage them by heating, toasting, etc. Both of those recipients ended up throwing the items away. Of course I was embarrassed and very dismayed. Wolferman's responded to my complaint and request for a refund with an offer to send new gift packs to the original recipients. That's helpful but it doesn't really make up for the embarrassment of sending two relatives BAD gifts, and of course I have no idea if the next products will be any good. So, buyer beware.

My daughter sent this to me for Christmas. She sent 4 packs of English muffins & one English muffin bread. So far I have tried the Jalapeno Corn Meal English Muffins & I really like them. Good with soup or chilli. Also, I have tried the cranberry citrus english muffins. I was hoping they had more citrus flavor; real, not artificial. I put orange marmalade on them & they were fine. Just tried the English Muffin bread with homemade split pea soup and it was great. Nice and crunchy and crispy and thick. Just the way I like toast, especially on a cold winter day. I am going to order the sample of 4 English muffin breads during the after Christmas sale.

Buyer beware. I just received my order. When you are chosing your gift basket and you select from the scone packages, please know that a package of scones consists of ONE 4 inch scone!!!! I assumed a pkg of scones would be similar to the 4 english muffins in a package...not one tiny scone in a package. My gift baskets sent to friends are going to be embarrasingly empty.

I wanted to order this item to receive the crumpets but couldn't locate them when I was selecting the items I wanted. Did I miss them or are they not there? I did receive the items and enjoyed all of it, except the fact that I wanted to try the Crumpets.

I rec'd the Mix and Match for my birthday. What a delicious treat. The blueberry scones were so fresh. The muffins are a meal in themselves. I will recommend this to others.
