    At 87, my mom says food doesn't taste good anymore and finding food she likes is a challenge. I've found a winner with the muffins, scones and jam from Wolferman's. She says the taste, texture and flavor of all of the items are the best she has ever eaten! I'm two for two having sent this gift to my mom and my sister this month!

    The mini muffins fell through to the bottom of the toaster and were stuck there, and were very frustrating to retrieve. Taste wasn't bad, wasn't great either. Not anything better/worse than what you would buy from the grocery store. I definitely wouldn't say 'gourmet'. So-so quality product in pretty boxes. I don't eat boxes, so how they look is not important to me. I'd rather be impressed by the product than the package it comes in. I definitely would not give these as a gift.

            I bought this for myself since I have already sent a few to friends and co-workers. I wanted to see how it really was. I loved the regular size english muffins and the jam the best. It appeared smaller though everything was included. I would definitely still order and ship as gifts and definitely look for special promos and coupons to help with the cost.

                        Thank you for your question. You may view the ingredients of specific products by clicking the Nutritional Information link in the lower right corner of the page. Our policy is strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices as recommended by the Food and Drug Administration. In our manufacturing areas, equipment is thoroughly dis-assembled and cleaned after potential food allergens have been processed. This does not mean that we can guarantee 100% removal of residual protein that might cause an allergenic reaction since it can take as little as 10 parts per million of protein residue to initiate a reaction in hyper-allergenic individuals. We are committed to a strict program of precaution and prevention to avoid any contamination. However, since nothing is absolutely free of risks, we add an allergy alert warning to the label for all products we produce under these circumstances.
