8 Maple Almond Signature English Muffins

8 to 12 plums, sliced

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 Tbls. butter

1/4 tsp. cardamom

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Powdered sugar for garnish

Optional: 2 Tbls. brandy or rum


Preheat oven to 350� F. and warm Maple Almond Signature English Muffins without dividing for 15 minutes. Prepare Plum sauce: Cut plums into quarter-inch slices and add to one-quart sauce pan with maple syrup, granulated sugar, butter, cardamom and cinnamon. Heat for 15 minutes or until plums soften. Remove English Muffins from oven, place on desert plates and cover with plum sauce. Garnish with Powdered Sugar.

If desired, you can add either brandy or rum to Plum Sauce.
