Created in a completely handmade process, this Stollen is a well-loved European pastry. Natural cherries, raisins, and candied orange are soaked in a non-alcohol rum flavoring mixture for 24 hours, which is eventually baked into the bread dough giving it incredible flavor. The sweet marzipan center of the Stollen bread is made with finely ground almonds, confectioner's sugar, almond extract, and egg whites. Each loaf is baked to a golden brown perfection. Once gently warmed, we suggest a dusting of powdered sugar before serving. Our Stollen is perfect with breakfast, but so irresistible that it's welcome with afternoon tea or as a dessert as well.
